We went to Cuneo to meet two producers of the most expensive, most adulterated, and most fascinating spice in the world: saffron. During the twenty days of harvest they sleep three hours a night and work nonstop,
but Erica and Giorgio do not regret their old white-collar jobs. On the contrary, farm life has given them back a slow and simple rhythm that is worth more than all the hard work.
